Ultimate Brighton Paris Cycling Challenge

Cyclists - We need you!

I am organizing a unique fundraising cycling challenge from Brighton to Paris in ONE day. Would you like to take part? Know anyone else who might be interested?

The challenge will follow this iconic 130 miles route, from Brighton to Newhaven, over the Channel, through the scenic Seine valley and to the Eiffel Tower before nightfall on the longest day of the year.

The ride will follow a fully planned route with GPS support, be accompanied by two support vehicles, and you will be provided with water, a cycling jersey and of course a medal on completion. You will be partnered with cyclists of a similar speed and ability so you can join knowing you will have a fun and sociable time too.

Places cost £75 per person (you will be responsible for the cost of your overnight accommodation and onward journey). We will ask for a sponsorship of £600 per person. We will provide you with a fundraising pack and personal support and advice to help you raise your sponsorship.

All the money raised will go to First Base Day Centre which provides food, hot showers, laundry, free IT, medical appointments, housing referrals and work related training opportunities to people in Brighton and Hove who have become homeless or are rough sleeping. First Base is a lifeline for many – they help people who are often at their lowest point to turn their life around and begin the steps towards a positive and sustainable future away from the streets.
