cycle maintenance courses

alright guys, I've heard of cytech before, but someone has told me about velotech. is it worth doing this:

or is cytech more of a recognised qualification?

    Why do you want to do it? For a job in a bike shop or just for your own personal benefit? If the latter then complete waste of money, time and effort - bikes are not hard to work on and with the wealth of info on the net there's no reason not to give it a go yourself.

    Yeah, what I thought. It seems to have done really simple stuff in with some stuff a bit more complicated.

    Unsure if I'm honest. I think I'm having a mid life crisis and want a complete change of career. I'm looking at guiding qualifications too.
