RS Reverb & Work Stand

Found some posts from a while back saying the upper section of the Reverb shouldn't be clamped into a repair stand. Also the cable should be undone and the tube pulled to the min. insertion line and clamped onto the lower tube.
OK, fair enough - that's not too much trouble.
But, would this apply to a 2014 Stealth model? Having to pull cable through all the insides of the tubes, especially as some of mine are clamped is going to be a PITA. I've RTFM and it mentions nothing about it. But the manual for the non stealth model does mention it. So maybe the stealth is different?
:?:  :?

Fair enough, will try and slacken the cable a little so I can pull it up each time.0

You can't on a lot of frames, like my Nukeproof Mega.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350
