Here are Colnago frame reach sizes for a Colnago EPS trad geometry. How can sizes 51 to 56 have a longer reach than size 57 with 51 being the longest of all? So apart from the stack height does this mean that a 51 would fit a person over 6 foot and a person around 5' 2"?
size reach HT
57 395 158
56 397 150
55 397 141
54 397 132
53 395 123
52 398 114
51 400 106

You're talking a difference of 5mm max. Not a great deal is it? I'd say it was down to different HT and ST angles, and that may be to do with keeping the wheelbase short, or reducing toe ovelap etc. etc.
Look at the geometry chart linked to on this page. http://bicycleworldonline.com/product/1 ... 4331-1.htm
The "sizes" refer to the ST length with a horizontal TT. Reach (TT lenth) varies with HT and ST angles.0
