Hi I`ve been looking at the Canyon CF line ups and Ive noticed the 9.0 with Ultegra is lighter than the 8.0 with Athena by 200g.
despite Athena being lighter on this link. (Athena 2273g) (Ultegra 2322g)

Have I missed something or . . . ?

  • Could be the weight in the review was for the Carbon groupset and Canyon fit the ally groupset?

Either way I doubt you would notice the difference, I have a CF SL 8.0 and it is fairly light.
  • It looks like the link is from 2011?

I did quite a bit of research into this and I think the weight difference is likely due to the carbon vs Alu bits.

Thanks I think you must be correct and possibly a bit of "rounding" of the figures.

The Rose Bikes do look a good alternative, thanks to the OP for the links.
