100 miler near Berwick

Hi folks, long time reader, first time poster.
I'm training for the Etape du Tour this year, and early July I'm going on a caravan holiday for a weekend in Berwick. I'm looking to do a 100 miler that weekend, preferably without hitting main roads and a good bit of climbing.
I take it the A1 is too busy to ride on? Any local (or otherwise) help very much appreciated!
Thanks.

Yes the A1 is busy. But in that area just about every other road is quiet. Endless possibilities.0

To agree with the post above the A1 is busy. But no need to use it just head inland maybe towards Dunns and make a route up from there. All good quiet hilly roads, excellent riding to be had in the area.
