Reverb issue.....

I have a bit of an issue with my reverb and was wondering if anyone can help me diagnose it from the symptoms.... then possibly point me in the right direction to fixing it.

Symptoms.... Losing air pressure (very slowly over the course of a month or so)
..... Feels a bit gritty when it is retracted.

I am hoping to fix it without removing totally from the bike if possible.

(my reverb is NOT a stealth)

    Sounds like grit under the seals. Have you pumped it up much? Did you check that your shock pump was dirt free before hand (this is the normal culprit).

    I have pumped it up several times.... and I didnt check that the pump was clean....

    What can I do to fix it?
