sram red crank removal

Hi guy's. Can someone tell me how to remove a sram red crank. Do I go at it from the chain side or the other side? Which way do I turn the allen bolt? I'm confused. :oops:

    for red, usually on the non-drive side, hex key size depends on which model, afaik it's a normal thread, anticlockwise to undo
