Can anyone recommend a map holder that mounts to handlebars or top tube, ideally not obscuring a stem mounted Garmin? Integrated with a bag is an option I'd consider, though I have no need for much load capacity.

Thanks in advance.

Polaris Map Trap is very good indeed - however, it is best mounted on your stem.

If I am using both, I put my Garmin on the top tube.

I use the Polaris Maptrap but I use it as well as my 'out front' Garmin (mounted on a Garmin 'out front' holder), so I also fit the BarFly holder and stick the Maptrap on it, which means more space for my hands.:

£2 White plastic chopping board from Asda, drill 3 pairs of holes (2 for bars one for stem), 3 x cable ties to fix it on, and couple of rubber bands to hold the map in place.

I use mine for MTB orienteering on my cross bike. Just offer it up before drilling the holes so it doesn't cover your GPS unit, and isn't too far back you hit it with your knees.
