Hi everyone.
I'm returning to the mountain bike fold after a short lay off. Last year I sold my 2004 Genius MC40 and have been road riding for fitness. I was impressed with the Scott over the 8 years I had it, it never missed a beat. I have found a couple of 2013 Scott Genius discounted in a local bike shop. I'm open to suggestions, but would like a 29er (rode a friends Superfly 100) full suss. I can't find many reviews on the mentioned bikes, just wondered if anyone on here has one and what they think. P.S I would prefer a 2013 model for the discount!
I mainly ride trail centres, Hamsterley Forrest is on my doorstep.
Thanks for any helpful advise in advance.

I picked up a Genius 720 2014 model a month ago and i love it. They had a 2013 model in the shop but i had read some reviews criticizing the rear shock, the 2014 model now uses a Fox Nude which has received much greater praise. Because of this i ended up paying the extra for the 2014 model and dont regret it at all.
Much like your self i've been out of the mountain bike scene for a while and this is also my first full sus but i havent got a negative word to say about it 8)0
