Is this rim dead?
Cleaning my bike after a wet ride on Friday and found the following damage to the rear rim on my old Campy Eurus wheels.

The main dent, on the "made in italy" bit is a couple of millimeters deep and hasn't quite punctured the metal.
What do you think? Time to retire it to being my turbo wheel?

Looks fine."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

If the dent hasn't cracked the metal or distorted the rim then I'd happily carry on using itMake mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

As long as the braking surface and bead are still true then it should be fine.0

As above... metal is tolerant to dents, as long as they are not cracksleft the forum March 20230
