Hi,
I recently bought this frame off ebay; http://www.ebay.com/itm/281234927943?ss ... 1439.l2649.
I noticed that the frame has a tapered headset meaning that I can not use my current 1/8 straight fork?
I am not good with all the technicalities.. width, length and so on  So I was hoping someone could offer me any advise as to what fork I will need to buy?
Also, does anyone know what seat tube diameter the Raven has? I am eager to get it up and running fast so it would be nice to order the parts before I get the frame.

You can use a normal 1 1/8 steerer - with the right headset or adaptor for the lower cup.0

Thanks for your reply. Sounds like an excellent solution that will save my some money as well.0

Does anyone know if this is the right adaptor; http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/no/e ... p-prod2043 ?0

Only if you have a chris king headset, which is unlikely but possible of course! What you need to _convert_ your forks is this http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/hope ... -prod71609.A Flock of Birds
+ some other bikes.0 -
PS - there are ways to buy the right headset or convert the headset (not the fork) such as that Chris king part (for CK headsets) but you need the exact right one for your headset.A Flock of Birds

I've just bought the same and it's come with a reducer headset, have had a look but can't make head nor tail of which VP model it is. Would suggest you contact a Focus dealer, should be able to either supply or at least tell you the dimensions required.0

Ok, thanks for all replies. I think I will stop by my LBS tomorrow an ask them if they can install the fork on the frame.0
