Can anyone recommend a good quality mini/small pump that I can carry in a pocket that will pump my tyres up ?
Will one of these small pump really put 100 psi in my tyres ?

Bit pricey but the new Lezyne CFH pumps (normal with hose plus co2) are best of both worlds. I use pump to get going, carry on with pump if have time else most of the time then switch to co2.0

I also use a Lenzyne pump, very good, very compactCanyon Roadlite AL-Shamal Wheels-Centaur/Veloce Group

If anyone can certify that one of those mini pumps will get a road tyre to 100psi in less than two hundred strokes I will buy one. I have ditched a Specialized one that took 300 strokes to get to 50psi. :oops:0

Yes mine takes about 10 pumps as after that I push on the co2 and I'm done0

I'm certain this one is capable of such a feat, I certainly can pump a tyre to 100psi fairly quickly

I tend to carry one of these now:

I had a flat a couple of weeks ago, I think I counted around 140 strokes before I stopped as my arm started to go ~ When I popped it on the track pump when I got home, obviously this isn't going to be spot on, the tyre was around the 70-80 PSI range. The path of my life is strewn with cowpats from the devil's own satanic herd.0 -
Yes used to have mini floor pump before, which was much easier, but not really pocket sized. The new mini manual + CO2 seems a good solution :-

All the small pumps boast of high pressure, but at the end of the day the physics are simple. Even if you are lucky enough to have no air loss the sheer size of the things make pumping up to 100psi almost impossible unless you are a gorilla.0 -
Get the road drive pump, fix it to your bottle cage and forget about it; plus no severe injury risk additions from carrying steel tube in back pocket. They are very capable of getting decent pressure in tube when called upon.

It's pouring with rain in loads of places. Get into the garage, completely deflate your tyre and count the strokes.0
