Cable lugs on carbon frame

I was looking at a carbon frame for sale on eBay and noticed that the cable lugs on the top tube and down tube were missing.
The seller confirmed this and said there were holes in place.
This has put me off bidding but also aroused my curiosity.
Where would you get suitable lugs from and how would you attach them?

Is it not internal cabling, hence the holes?

They are usually held in place by aluminium pop-rivets, but in removing the old ones, the seller may have damaged the frame. Likewise, replacements need to match the holes exactly otherwise you'll weaken the frame - best left to someone who knows what they're doing. TBH there's plenty of frames that don't have a faff-factor.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

Monty - I agree with you and am not going to bother with this frame.
