Bike lock advice

Hi all,
I'll be starting commuting to work, on a bike worth about £250. The bike will be left outside an office, attached to a bike rack. It'll be fairly busy, but there'll most likely be quiet points mid-morning and mid-afternoon where there won't be anyone about.
I currently have an Abus Bordo 6000 lock, which I was going to wrap around the rear wheel and frame and attach to the bike rack. I was going to pair this with a squire 12c cable http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00862V9HC?pc_redir=1396485164&robot_redir= and a squire padlock http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B003KJ05ZI/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1397754366&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX110_SY165 with the cable wrapped round the frame, seat and front wheel and around the bike rack, and the padlock also locked round a front wheel spoke as well as the cable loops.
What do people think of this combination? Was thinking of getting pinhead locks as well, but this might be overkill considering the value of my bike.
Would welcome people's opinions and advice.

I wouldn't trust my bike with those, not even to pop into Tesco.
Silver or gold rated Ulock and good quality cable, plus insurance is the way to go.

Two interlocking (Sold Secure rated) D/U-Locks and a cable or two. Only lock the bike where there are cameras.I used to just ride my bike to work but now I find myself going out looking for bigger and bigger hills.0

A good U-lock through the frame, rear wheel and attached to the bike rack. Cable looping through the front wheel and maybe the seat then back to the U-lock.
For a £250 bike I think that would be okay. My old hybrid (which really did cost £250 but is probably worth £20 today ) has been left outside Paddington station overnight without problems.
If the bike looks like it's worth more and you'll always be using the same location, then you could get some chunky chain and a padlock from a hardware shop and leave it attached to the rack when you're not using it.
You just need to make it enough of a hassle that the bike isn't worth the effort of stealing; having a cheap bike is a very good start, especially if the bike is tatty looking and the U-lock is a good one.0 -

I got one of these, good deals at moment, and beat a few of the top locks.0
