can I split rides on garmin

Out tonight again for a spin but didnt notice till nearly home that I forgot to reset from my last ride as I didnt upload it at the time.......can I split this into 2 rides?
I'm not too technical where computers are so whats my chances if its possible? :oops:

You should also be able to upload the ride, trim it using the edit function, then upload it again and trim the other way. I've done something similar before.0

If it's Garmin Connect could you explain how and where? I was under the impression that Garmin Connect didn't allow you to manipulate logged data at all except to overwrite total distances times etc with the Full Edit function. I don't see a way to do this via either the Quick Edit or Full Edit options.0 -

Ai_1 - I don't think that you can repair in Garmin Connect, so I presume that the others mean Strava.
If you use the link that I posted, it should automatically split the ride where there is a gap of more than 4hrs. It is a long time since I have used the link, but it worked well for me last year when needed.0 -
