Got a new (to me) bike and i want to rewire the brake cables fitted into the integrated carbon stem/bars - reason being the rear brake is on the right hand bar! Ive no instructions so dont want to go just pulling the brake and gear cables out ham fistedly. Any experiences or instructions greatly received!

Similar to these bars, Sram force brakes/chainset

I have some bars similar to those, and they have tubes inside for the cables, so it's trivial to pull the old ones out and slide new ones in. The most difficult part is that the gear cables need to bend very sharply coming out of the bars and into the levers, but that might not be the case with yours.

It helps if you pull the ends of the outers out of the levers first.

    ^^^this

then you can push/pull from each end to get it out

in my integrated bars the cables do not run in tubes, they're free to move around, so when fitting i add some chunky sleeving to give some padding, otherwise they can rattle on rougher road surfaces which gets very annoying
