I'm assuming he's just removed his helmet after finishing Paris-Roubaix. It's dust.

Is he moving on to be a DS?

I'm not so sure. His face is remarkably clean and no helmet hair.

Seems to be on his forehead (just below where the helmet would be) and around his nose and eye sockets too.

I think there's an eccentric billionaire that was offering a million pound prize for such event. He might use the defence that I only said I wasn't sure though.

All that stats wizardry looks fine on the threads, but like most competitors, he's yet to deliver when it matters: PTP GC.

In other news, it took 257 hellish km to strip away the veneer of Euro sophistication and reveal Millar's inner rubber-faced Jock: David Jocky Millar. (Doubt it will catch on)

I just don't have the self-discipline to repeatedly pick the favourites, I'm afraid. (Although I'm doing OK so far this year, so the leftfield picks are at a minimum).

@dustymil59 Great to hear from one of Britain's best cyclers but shouldn't you concentrate on your next sportive & selling your shoes?

For some reason I just can't warm to Miller think he's a bit of a pillock.

He's a bit to Armstrong Holier than you sometimes, he just needs to take himself a bit less serious sometimes.

Not sure that's necessarily the case.

Happy I finished, especially as I nearly didn't, I stopped after one lap of the velodrome and hung out for 5mins. 18yrs pro, still a moron.

    I think it's spelled 'pilloque'

Am I right in saying it was his first (and last) Roubaix this year? Very surprised if that's the case.

Nope, his first ride was in 2000.
