which bike to choose

I am new to the mtb world and am unsure of which bike to get, I am looking at the Carrera kraken, Carrera titan 650b limited edition, voodoo bantu and voodoo aizan. I realise that the more you spend the better you get but want to keep it in this price range as I might not be able to get out every week and use the bike for what its designed for. any advice will be much appreciated.

    Vulcan, Kraken, Bantu or Hoodoo (not the Titan, poor value), that or the Calibre two.two from Go Outdoors or a Rockrider 5.3 from Decathlon though you may not either store locally.

    Key points to look for are a Hydraulically damped fork (you wouldn't remove the shock absorbers from a car and still drive it!) and hydraulic disc brakes.
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
