Has anyone tried SUPACAZ bar tape? I like the colors, but it is twice the price as everything else.

Yes! I have tried it :) If you look on my genesis volare 853 thread on my signature you can see it.
To start with i thought it was well worth the money as it is by far the comfiest tape ive ever used. But after two months of use it has worn away where my palms sit whilst riding, worst part is my gloves are giro zeroes which have no abrasive grip area so it is plain bad quality tape. I complained to supacaz but never heard anything back. I will be buying lizard skins tape next time!

I know lizard skins is super comfy but after three 100 miles back to back rides my lizard skins wore through into a whole, never bought it again. I use sram cork tape now.
  • Arundel Gecko Grip is the answer.

Not too expensive, it's comfy, grippy and long lasting. Only down side is it's a bit of a pain to wrap.

That happened to me in next to no time too. Maybe they've improved it now, as it obviously isn't happening to everyone.

Just wondering if the lizards skin tape your used was all black or multicolored? Where my supacaz tape has worn away is on the green section whereas the black looks as new as day one!
