Seat post creak/squeak query

My Fizik carbon seatpost was making a creaking sound so I removed and seatpost and cleaned and added carbon paste and they recommended to torque to 6NM but I have heard to do 5NM is more than enough.

So my questions is if I leave it at 5NM than can it squeak/creak at the lesser NM?

    5Nm is enough with carbon assembly paste as well, try it at that first.

    Get some carbon paste to help it grip without having to risk over torquing the bolt.

    Thanks. I have tried it with the Tacx Carbon compound so lets see how that works.
