Thinking about trying a bit of enduro this year but never done anything like it before. What would be a good event for beginners?

As for training I find a good mix helps.
For fitness just as much riding as you can.
For skillz, Ride a bit of everything because that is what you will find the stages are made out of. From DH tracks to Trail centre trail to fast single trail to loamy fresh cut stuff.
They tend to be very social races as there is not a sprint to the top of the hill. So you can chat to other riders and compare how may time you have fallen off.

PMBA Enduro and 'Ard Rock Enduro then, But I thinks Ard rock and Rd1 of PMBA are sold out. Might be ok for other rounds.

I can't seem to find much information on these events on the internet. It all talks about 2012 events or the fact that there wont be any events on for 2013.
Do you think gravity enduro will kick off more over the next few years...i.e more trial centres hosting events to bring in the money/people?
