    Cycling used to be a safe sport, kept away from the media with no one who really understood it around I could happily manage to do other things during the day then go home and watch the recording of the cycling.

    Yesterday we were at the marina painting our boat, listnening to the football on the radio (my wife is a Liverpool fan and I take more of an interest in football since I have known her) and afterwards radio five live announced the P-R winner - how unfair was that? It's not as if the broadcaster had any real idea who Terpstra was!!
