A57 between Warrington and Prescott

my Company is moving offices and I am looking at a few different routes to get there. Does anyone use the A57 between Warrington and Prescott? I have had a look at it on google maps and it looks like it might be OK (excluding the dual carriage way part). Basically don't want trucks going past me at 50mph every 5 seconds.
I currently travel from Sale > Haydock so can either just do that route and carry on down the East Lancs (boring) or was looking at continuing down the TPT to Warrington and onto the A57.
Alternatively any other route that anyone can suggest?
