Good afternoon,

Just a simple Pinarello question really; is there any benefit to choosing a DOGMA over a ROKH? Numbers aside, I was wondering if anyone had ridden both and could lend advice....

Thanks!
WK

I am no expert on Pinarello but I believe the Rokh is aimed at the sportive market so probably longer head tube and more upright positioning and the Dogma is the much more aggressive in position.
If you visit their website it will probably tell you what the geometry of the frames are.
Depends how you like to be sat your bike ?
    Just Kidding !

You're wrong. The ROKH is very much a racing bike too.

I've ridden both and I'd say - if you want an ultimate race bike, the Dogma is the way to go. But in reality, if what you need is a good training bike that performs well and can handle some of the crap the UK roads throws at you, go for the Rokh. It's a good racing bike too, but a bit less fragile.

  • The Rokh is certainly more comfy I'd say.

I guess it depends how 'pro peloton' you want to look ;) they use the Dogma K for Paris Roubaix though.

It depends, as asked above, what sort of riding you do?

I didn't say you could not race it I merely commented on the geometry,

But to create a bike that’s more sportive-orientated, Pinarello have extended the wheelbase – which, they claim, adds cushioning – and added around 10mm to the head tube.

I have taken the above paragraph from Bike Radars own review, perhaps that's incorrect !

Cheers all. I actually have a ROKH and find it deliciously comfy for riding, I was considering moving onto a DOGMA in a few months time but from the sounds of it, it'll be a few grand without real reals. I'm not a racer just love putting in some KMs at the weekend.

    Thanks for all the responses

Isn't the Rokh now a Rahza?

That seemed to get very good reviews ....
Still thinking of something clever to say!

Rokh is now Dogma K. Rahza is a new entry level Pina.

Rokh is still in the 2014 line up, think the Dogma K replaced the Kobh.
