Road bike demo days

In the MTB world it's not unusual for a shop to arrange a demo day at an offroad location with a bunch of manufacturers so that punters can turn up and trial a variety of different bikes back to back and so be able to make a more considered decision about what they want to buy.
Do any roadie shops do a similar kind of thing? Ideally yorkshire based, but happy to travel to get on a good selection of different stuff.

Rutland Cycling have one today and tomorrow as it happens. Not that far from Yorkshire.

M Steele in Gosforth, near Newcastle, also do them. last one was in Rothbury, Northumberland, around May/June 2013
