Hello,

Would like advice as to if you would put 105 group set on a 2010 Spesh allez , or not .. Just wait to upgrade the bike,
But I must say the Spesh is really comfortable.

Thanks
Tony.

Depends if you just go for a Tarmac or not. I did :) but kept the Allez and now looking to upgrade that too :)

I guess if you're happy with the frame there's no reason to change it,

Upgrading to the 105 seems like a good idea to me.

If you like your bike and get a good price on the groupset why not. Just make sure the rear wheel will take the 10 speed cassette.

    Hi,

Bike is currently running shimano 2300 8 speed triple set up, ive seen a 2nd hand black 105 groupset , 750 miles on it,for
£170, or another option, a Tiagra groupset for £125, this is 6months old. Had a price off LBS to swap the groupset for £45 does this sound reasonable. ..? Sorry both above are compact chainsets.

    Thanks
    Tony.
