He joined us a few years ago.
Succumbed to the temptation of the other forum and chopped in his Tricross for Surly Steamroller.
Then got hit by a car, and in the foggy haze that was his recovery he accidentally entered a ballot. And got accepted.
He's running the marathon this weekend. The fool.

Oh dear, good luck Mr Hatbeard. I knew he'd gone the way of that other forum for singlespeeded Londoners, but didn't realised he gone as low as running.

Much like that Brown Braun Brawn chap who took up running, shortly afterwards gave up riding and became a teetotal hippy vegan

Finished in 3:52:42, no stopping, pretty much pain free.

however I did get a strava suffer score of 830? is that enough pain and suffering for you lot?

Well done, I think just finishing is more than enough suffering for me. Actually starting is probably more than I can handle. Getting under 4 hours sounds good to me. Am I right in thinking under 4 hours is fast for a leisure runner?
    Did you wear your hat?
Now get back on two wheels and stick around this time.
