Afternoon,
I am thinking of getting a Trek domane 4.0
Any thoughts on these bikes or others similar "endurance framed" bikes
Thanks

They all do pretty much the same thing. Get whichever one has the best geometry for you and an acceptable colour scheme.

Specialized Roubaix, Bianchi Infinito SV, along with the Domane are probably the best 3 on the market

This is the best advice, for me geometry similar to the Trek H2 fits me best as I am not a head down racer.

Don't ALL road bikes do "pretty much the same thing"?

What can one do that the other cannot?

Domane is good for what you're looking for. Also consider the Scott CR1.

In a way, but the geometry spectrum goes from (pro) race to tourer. I have been looking at titanium as I want sportiv but not full on tourer.

That doesn't answer the question. I was making the point that such a broad statement does little to help choose a bike in term of comfort. I mentioned the Domane, Roubaix and Infinito as being (probably) the top 3 out there because they have bar far the best frames and forks for dampening road vibration while still producing a race performance capable bike. I am sure steel , titanium and a very small amount of alu frames can do this too but not to the same standard with weight and aerodynamics taken into account.

Before buying my current bike, 2 years ago, I test rode an Infinito, a Domaine and a Roubaix (all 2012 models). From test riding I found all of them comfortable enough with a slight edge in favour of the Infinito and the Roubaix over the Domaine. Eventually I went for the Infinito and absolutely love it having done rides of up to 200km on it. I'm sure I would have been equally comfortable on the Roubaix but I preferred the look of the Infinito and they were a similar price. As an added bonus Epic Cycles are a Bianchi stockist and the service I got from them was outstanding.
