Hi all!
My name is Theo.
I would like your advice on buying a used specialized hardrock for about €200 (approx 165GBP). I'm not sure of the year the bicycle was made but it has front susp, front & rear disc brakes, and 21 gears.
It's a large sized bicycle at a good condition minus a few scratches here and there.
What do you think?
Is the price reasonable?
Should I get it?
What are my options areound that price range?
Thanks

No idea as you are presumably not in the UK, and no idea of specific specs, but 21 gears would suggest a bottom end Hardrock, so steel bars, rubbish forks etc. I would keep looking.

In the UK Hardrocks are very poor value for money, so it follows second hand price may not be good value either.

If you post details of what else is available to you (ideally with specific model and year / link to the spec), you will get more advice.

Hardrock's are generally a BAD used (or new for that matter) buy, the name keeps the price high while the value (for money) has always been low.

21 gears is a giveaway for cheap components, it will almost certainly be cable discs with rather cheap and heavy components, lesser known brands are usually best value for money.

Indeed I 'm not in the UK.
And yes it has cable discs, I forgot to mention that.
It did feel quite heavy when I lifted it.
The initial thought I had was "don't say yes to that sell right now, think about it". And it seems a not as good of a buy afterall.
Any suggestions around that price range?
    Used or new.

By the way, I appreciate the replies!
    Thanks a lot!

As we have no idea where you are or what's available at what price it's a bit difficult.
    Second hand it's impossible.

Have a look online in local classifieds and post up links, then we can give meaningful comments.
