Paint in the rear dropouts – new Colnago?

Is it normal to have to remove the paint from the rear drop outs on a Colnago EP in order to fit the rear wheel? What are the drop outs made from on this frame, does anybody know? Even the mech hanger has been painted albeit with a grub screw in the hole to protect the thread.

    Yep, I've had to do that on 3 of my Colnago's, file with a broad flat file, I think they were all ally, just be gentle.
