Here's my summer ride, BMC SLR02 as standard apart from RS10 wheels (to be upgraded for lighter ones in future), Spesh bottle cages and Koolstop Pads. Currently weighs in at 7.8 kg, size 51. Quick cameraphone pic but you get the general idea...just waiting for that frame melting rain to stop ;-)

Like, off to size one on Friday :) can I ask how tall are you and inseam please? the 54 geo looked a tad big for me (ride quite compact normally) and I'm just over 5'9 and 32" leg.

I'm 5'7" and 29" leg. Perfect fit for me.

Lovely looking bike, thinking about getting me one of these. Comfy as they say?

All comfort is relative I think. For such a stiff bike it's extremely comfortable, I've done 75 miles with no issues at all. I guess it depends on what you're used to, someone riding this after a Ti bike might not agree, who knows. But for me, BMC have got a winner here.

Okay, good to know, i suppose there is always the spacer option, yours seemed to come with a fair steerer tube

After a few weeks of riding I've dropped the stem by two spacers (not both at once mind) and happy with the position cut the steerer.

    good shoots...
  • Recently purchased with Ultegra 6800. Looking at putting a Stages power meter on but it looks a tight fit according to the spec from Stages. Anyone know if it does fit? I've searched around both on Stages site and Saddleback etc and can't find an answer.
