Which front derailleur type do I need?

I am running a 105 triple front mech (and triple lever ) on a compact chainset.It works fairly well but I want to change it to compact front derailleur to tighten things up a bit.It is 34.9 band on. Do I need to buy another band on or will any other do and just bolt it onto the clamping band.Also would either 105 or ultegra fit,the cable comes up from the bottom.
