Hello I'm looking for a mountain bike for around £300, been to halfords looked at some bikes and checked the forums online who tend to recommend avoiding halfords.
Ive been looking at the Rockrider 5.3 26er
http://www.decathlon.co.uk/rockrider-53 ... 06682.html
and noticed that this is recommended with the stick at the top of the forum.
However this was posted in 2012 so wondered if this was still relevant.
I want a bike that i can use on forest trails and some road use, I'm not looking to go pro just a weekend rider.
Any help and other recommendations would be great.
Thanks in advance

Still available, still relevant, good bike!
or look at the Calibre two point two.0 -
Thanks have looked at the two two briefly.
New to all this so what's the real differences and advantages of each bike?0 -
The Calibre gets a better fork and hydraulic brakes - more control from both. Nothing else at this price range is worth looking at, only these two bikes.0
