I currently have a Gore Path gilet that's great, but doesn't pack very small.

Can anyone recommend something? I like the look of the Castelli Fawesome but not sure how packable it is

Craft feather light gilet. I also have the jacket version in a medium which is 113g so the gilet must be under a 100g.

If you are not sure of the weight you could do that revolutionary thing and google it.

Clearly that may be tough so I did it for you. 149g. :P

Sportful hot pack, packs to about the size of a walnut. 67g. Can't recommend this gilet enough.

Boil in a bag and makes you look like you a man with a large condom on.

    Boil in the bag?
I find the hot pack stuff more breathable than my Goretex jacket. Going on the performance of the gilet I bought the jacket and that hasn't let me down either, plus you get a gilet/jacket that has a decent race fit.....for once.

Considering the ultralight jacket it ridiculously small (about half the size of the regular Hot Pack gilet) the Ultralight Gilet must be the smallest packing Gilet going - http://www.wiggle.co.uk/sportful-hot-pa ... ight-vest/

Thanks all. Might even go for the Sportful Hot Pack Ultralight version at that weight!

+1 for the Craft Featherlight: Very breathable, 90g, can be had for £30 and different colours:

the SOTTILE DUE VEST packs really small, but not breathable, the Fawesome fits in a rear jersey pocket
and has more chest protection and the advantage of being stretchy. Breathable mesh back. The chest part is (I think) the same material as used in their Gabba jersey.
