all round tyres

HI guys
I posted earlier about white tyres, I might be limited on choice. I do need tyres though. I guess most people need an all round tyre to some degree but I do not ride to any particular discipline, I just like getting on my bike and hitting the trails. I am not an xc racer nor a downhiller, I just like getting out. I do have a half decent specced bike. I am currently riding wtb allterrainasarus tyres which offer what I am after; an all round tyre. So I want something similar but possibly more grippy. I travel on tarmac to get to the trails.

Very personal, there is no "best" tyre.
I like Rocket Rons or Racing Ralphs. They're not great in sticky mud, and they're quite thin, so wear fast and not ideal on rocks.
A lot of people like Nobby Nics or Hans Dampfs, never used the latter, don't really like the Nics.0
