Merida worth a go?

Hi guys, currently shopping for a new hardtail and quite fancy a 29er.

Have seen this Merida, any first and experience or recommendations of others

    Nice spec for the money, Merida make millions of bikes each year including most Specialized, carrera's, Boardman's, Voodoo's and many other branded bikes.
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
