Don't worry, I'd be more apologetic about the colour of the little car in the middle

The "green thing" is in fact a Beemer - a BMW Isetta

I used to have a Citroen Traction Avant - third photo down, except mine was pre-war, RHD - Chesterfield sofa on wheels and the most advanced, mass-production car of the time.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

It went back to normal after I baked It in the sun for a couple of hours each side.

I know it's hard for you to imagine 4 hours of continuous sun all in the same day

Cheeky bastardo it's a BMW it has 4 wheels, four gears and reverse, made of steel and is more rare than those common old Lamborghini plastic thingies :D

The reverse gear makes all the difference, which was the similar car where people would get stuck in garages unable to reverse or open the door to get out?

I think you answered your own question there :D

Well spotted, I wasn't sure if it was a jelly mold and I could see the whole car, until I got up close :D

Which one? I initially meant the 4th pic down which looked like an Alfa badge but looking again the grill is wrong. Lotus never made something that pretty surely? 6th down looks more how I remember a Europa looking. I would have said the second car down was an Alfa too, you'd think I'd recognise one as an Alfa owner

I blame the fact that all old cars looked the same, unlike today

4th one down is a Bugeyed Fright, I mean Frogeye Sprite. Lotus Breadvan is lovely though. I hate chrome wire wheels they look so tarty.

    There's probably a good reason why it's rare :P

Do you remember the Top Gear episode where Clarkson got into a Peel P50 (?) and drove it into BBC Television Centre? Reminds me of your 'car' :)

It's a 300cc engine surely that makes it Eco, it does about 70 of your earth miles to an English galleon. :D

I was wondering when this thread was going to move on to the subject of coffee. Alas, you posted a pic of a grinder.

I worked with a guy who had an Isetta, a Messerschmitt:

    and a Heinkel:

He also had some exceptionally rare motorbikes - many in the National Motorcycle Museum.
