Hi,
I ordered a pair of Specialized Purgatory Control 29x2.3 follwing their wide praise and relative value.
However, the retailer (http://www.bikeplus.co.uk) sent me a 2.2 and a 2.3. After my initial disappointment is this a better combo with a 2.3 on the front and a 2.2 rear?
I ride a lot of km's on the Yorkshire Dales and do some long 100km xc rides now and again. Will the 2.2 be better for rolling on the back or should I send it back and get the 2.3 that I ordered?

Enough to run the 2.3. It is fitted to the rear at the moment as my last rear tyre (Cont X King) was shot.Remember Rule #50

A good 75mm at the narrowest point - and there is little gloop in the Dales where I ride; more wet peat than clay.Remember Rule #50
