First Proper Moutain Bike Through Cycle to Work Scheme

Hi all,

I've decided to get on the cyclescheme through my new job and have been relentlessly researching for the past 6 weeks about what bike I should go buy, I have a budget of 500 for my certificate and I am looking to maybe add another 100-150 on top of that myself. The cyclescheme only allows certain places so I can't use Halfords where I would have liked the boardman gt comp or a bizango. I THINK I've narrowed my choice down to two. The first being the Rockrider 8.1 from Decathlon and the other being a Saracen Kili Expert 29er which I have found for 600 on Winstanley bikes reduced from 1200. I read that it was never really worth that much but for 600 represents a good buy. So if I could have a second opinion that would be great. I will want to be using the bike for what it was intended as well cycling round the city. here are the specs of the bikes.
