Hi all,

Am looking at spending around a £1000 for a new bike and with a local Cube dealer, I am looking at the new Cube peloton.

Being a relative novice on the biking scene, is this a good bike to buy and what are the challengers?

Thanks in advance.

I take it that you mean the Peleton Race, like this?

    Red bikes are the fastest.

This weeks cycling weekly has some reviews, as regards competitors there are probably 200 in the price band

Careful, someone might swap it for this while you're not looking.

I'm getting the black and red model didn't fancy the white one.

I'll let you know how it is when it arrives. I'll be comparing to my trek 1.5

Had 3 rides on it so far around 60 miles. Still getting used to it, Have smashed some PB's uphill but need to work on the downhill speed. A few tweaks made, I have tilted the handlebars up a bit as when out the saddle I was catching my knees on the drops.
The one big advantage over my Trek is I can actually get out the saddle and really put the power down as the bike on a 56cm comes up smaller and is 2kg lighter than the Trek.
