I've got a few cable run marks on my frame and before I apply some protective tape would like to touch the marks up. What's the best type of paint to use and how do I prepare the area of the frame ?

Cheers all

Personally, I wouldn't do it - cable rub marks do not touch in very well, and the repair always looks obvious. But if you must, then Airfix/Humbrol type enamels work well.

If the paint is still intact and just has some dirty marks or shallow scratches you can just use some scratch removal paste sold at auto supply stores. This is just a very mildly gritty paste that smooth's out the surface.
