Old work mate of mine organises it - for a skinny lad he's got a half decent taste in cake at the village hall.

Rode it last year, was postponed from its original good friday date owing to the snow to a bank holiday Monday. The climb out from longnors proper little ring stuff. Loads of false flats, the final dig to the corner onto the main road is a killer. Even the main road has a couple of proper digs, Make sure you have a decent rear light on for the main road section - its a very busy road ( and the reason i DNF'd it )

As for the downhill clench your buttocks and read the potholes well..

    Good luck

DNF? Hope you weren't injured? Thanks for the advice, I'm doing a recce on saturday, seen a video of someone doing a lap and the roads should be in a lot better shape, mud and snow free I hope!!
