Taking a bike on Eurostar

Can you take a bike on as hand luggage, if it's in a bike bag? I know it's ok for TGV, but not sure of the rules for Eurostar

When I took mine, I just booked it in as a bike and put it in the bike storage...

Eurostar have changed the max size of hand luggage specifically to exclude bike boxes sadly.

You have to book it in as a bike and drop it off at their bike handling locations. It's pretty easy.

And it's not really hand baggage is it? Unless it's a Brompton. I'd be pissed off if I rocked up to the train and the baggage racks were full of bike boxes.
