Bike on the way.... Now what accessories?

So, now I have ordered a bike (Voodoo Bizango 29er) I now need to sort out the rest of the bits to go with it. I have had a good read and a think and have come up with the list below.
As a newbie I am not 100% sure if I need all of these bits, if I have missed anything and which products to go for. So any pointers would be appreciated. I don't want to spend mega bucks but at the same time I want decent quality stuff.
Pump (with frame mount)
Lock
Spare Inner tubes
Multi tool with chain tool
Puncture repair kit with tyre levers
Chain lube
Helmet
Mudguards
Gloves
KMC power link
Chain stay protector
Oh and I also need a bracket to store the bike flat against a wall!
Any help would be appreciated.

A camelback so you can put sll your stuff in it and don't frame mount the pump."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Insurance., you will also need a shock pump for the air suspension fork.0

You might want a bottle cage and bottle, depending on the amount of riding you're doing and whether you want to run a camelback or not (with the kit list you're talking about a Camelback makes quite a bit of sense. oh and an app like strave so you can chart your mileage / progress and encourage you to do more miles.
also get some cleaning kit... you can get a bunch of soft bristle brushes & sponges from a large Tesco for small money or spend a lot more for a custom kit from Muc-off or similar.0 -
How about lights?
As for a wall mount, these are very good...

Thanks for all the replies so far, keep them coming.
That Cycloc looks great but a but pricey? I was thinking of something like http://www.jejamescycles.co.uk/raleigh- ... 11151.html The looks aren't near as good, but it's only going to be mounted in a side alleyway so doesn't need to look great so long as it does the job.0 -

Very true but then It's fairly secure where the bike will be going (famous last words eh)0 -
For me, the essentials are:
Helmet
Spare inner tubes
Multi-tool
Tyre levers
Pump (or Co2 inflators)
Glasses
Camelbak (or equivalent) with hydration system
Nice to haves...
Lock (depending if you are leaving it lying around)
gloves
padded shorts
Don't worry about mudguards - just accept that you and the bike will get filthy.2007 Felt Q720 (the ratbike)

You could put a wall anchor next to it and then put a cable through that and the bike in order to secure it."Arran, you are like the Tony Benn of smut. You have never diluted your depravity and always stand by your beliefs. You have my respect sir and your wife my pity"

Thanks again. Done a lot more reading.
I have a rucksack that I will use for now and then upgrade that later, maybe to a camelback. So I won't bother with a bottle and cage yet, until I decide. I have lots of car cleaning stuff which I can use for the bike. I also have a very cheap set of lights and will upgrade those later if needed.
So my research has pointed me to the following.....would appreciate any comments or ideas on my selections....
Pump. Still no idea, looking for something small with a guage. Don't want to buy two at this stage.
Lock. Was thinking of the Onguard Brute LS as the main d lock and a second Onguard DT pit bull which comes with a cable as well.

Spare Inner tubes
Continental MTB 29er http://www.wiggle.co.uk/continental-qua ... nner-tube/
Multi tool with chain tool
Either a Topeak Hexus II or a Crank Brothers 17 function tool. http://www.wiggle.co.uk/crank-brothers- ... multi-tool or http://www.wiggle.co.uk/crank-brothers- ... multi-tool
Puncture repair kit with tyre levers
Some Pedros levers and a Lezyne patch kit

http://www.wiggle.co.uk/lezyne-metal-patch-kit/
Chain lube
Will a can of GT85 do?
Helmet
Not sure yet. Need to try some on.
Mudguards
Really not sure what's best for a 29er. Need them though because there will be the short commute.
Gloves
661 Raji.
KMC power link
Chain stay protector
Lizard Skin not sure which size. Some helicopter tape to protect other areas, but not sure where to get that from.
Storage Bracket
I think I will go with the Raleigh one as that can be had for under a tenner.0 -
More or less. Inner tubes - cheap ones work just as well - I buy whatever's on special.
I would get a separate chain tool - it's easier. The Parktools Mini Brute is better than my big workshop one, and cheap. Then any basic multitool - you just need a couple of Allen keys.
Chain lube - no. Get proper chain lube. I only use Squirt (direct from In To Dust, or I think Wiggle are selling it now). Follow the direction properly and it's unbeatable.
But not GT85.I don't do smileys.

Thanks again. GT85 off the list and Squirt on.0
