I know it's a silly question, I love my white bar tape just wondered what is the best way to clean it so it looks fresher :)

Jif. Or cif as the kids are calling it these days.
If you ride fast enough no one will even see the bar tape.

Get some Fizik shiny stuff. Grippy and gloss so just wipes down.

  • I am an expert at doing this the cheap way.

If it is dirty wash it with Aldi caravan cleaner. I keep this in a spray bottle and use it for the whole bike.
For small marks, like when you inadvertently hold the bars with greasy hands, use sainsburys basic household wipes. I also use them as my go to bike cleaner material.

baby wipes or kitchen wipes or one of the other hundred types of branded wipes that are all basically the same product in a different packet.

Best way? Hang the bike on a wall and never use it.

How does hanging it on the wall make it look fresher? It'll just stay as it is.
    Silly dennis!

Wrap black handlebar tape over the top of it to preserve its whiteness forever.

I had one of them red bikes but I don't any more. Sad face.
