I'm looking for a new aggressive trail/ enduro front tire. I can't decide between high roller 2 2.4's and minion dhf 2.5's. Can anyone help?

I have both and wouldn't recommend either. They both sit in the back of the garage and never get used. I like Minion DHF dual ply 42A supertacky for downhill though
Conti Rubber Queens are loans better for trail/xc/enduro/all mountain or whatever you like to call mountain biking.
  • how about the big betty? (they are very big mind). love them on my Canyon, got pacestar rear, trailstar front and they zip round trails!

    Minions are good, but heavy.

I've been using Highroller 2's as a front tyre with a Pugatory out back for general trail riding and as a rear tyre with a Hans Dampf out front at Trail centres. In both cases I've got on with them really well. I really like the way the shoulder digs in and grips. When I get round to it I intend to run them on one set of wheels at both ends until the trails start drying out. The only issue I've found is that the rear tyre is wearing faster than I'm used to. I've not had any punctures running them with tubes or UST. They were a git to get inflated tubeless but to be fair the set I bought were not the UST version and they've still held air as well as any tubeless tyre I've tried.

I've always had highrollers on my bikes and think they're a great tyre, no experience of the minion though.
