I want to replace my sunringle xmb freehub mk2 as it wobbles and grinds. I can remove the non drive side nuts and the axle will tap towards the drive side by about 1", is there any reason why it won't slide all the way out?

Most axles come out of the non drive side.

    But not seeing any pictures.....

  • I hope these help. The non drive side nuts undid really easily but the last one seems to be stuck, any ideas how I could get that off without damaging the threads?

    Comes out the other side.

  • I finally managed to get the last nut off today and found that I wasn't being persuasive enough to get the axle out.

All done now, Thanks for the help :D

you will soon have the hang of this. I've murdered several freehubs on the xmb2 hubs. Build quality isn't the best
  • This is my 1st replacement in approx 2000miles, if I get another 2000miles out of my next one I'll be happy :)
