Hi
I mostly use my Scott Aspect 29er tour for road so would like another set of wheels/tyres. Is this possible with huge expense?

Why not just fit road tyres on it?

Easier to change wheels than tyres

Yes and no. You'll potentially need to adjust your brakes and tweak your gears every time you change. If you use one set significantly more than another you'll need to keep an eye on chain/cassette wear too, and may end up running two chains. It's also far more expensive, I suspect you meant "without huge expense" in your first post, it's relative of course, but it's not a cheap thing to do.

Something like 700 35c cyclocross or road tyres fit straight on

    OK thanks for comments all.
Do the hybird/cross over tyres make a difference on roads?

Yes, big difference. Having said that my carbon road bike is much faster.
