Protection

Hi All.

What sort of protection/armour can be worn with out cooking in the summer ( if we have one ) mainly I'm thinking elbows, I did have a spectacular over the bar moment on Sunday which left me a bit winded for a minute or two, I have 661 body armour jacket that I use for my motorbike enduro riding but I think that would be to warm.

I have my knees/shins sorted with a protection I can take off easily when moving from hard section to hard section.

Recently got a set of Nukeproof knee pads and ive tested them a few times now, my last crash would of been brutal without them, ok on long distance pedals too!

I have those too. Comfortable enough for an afternoon round Gisburn, if a bit hot on warm days, and solid enough to knee my car hard enough to set off the alarm, without feeling it through the pads. I have the matching elbow pads too, which are very comfortable, with flexible (removable) Sastec armour.
